We are happy to announce that Apple has just approved ThreeTags Notebook – a free iPhone note taking app from ThreeTags. It should become available on the iTunes App Store in the next several hours.
ThreeTags Notebook is a free iPhone application that showcases ThreeTags capabilities. As a free app, it lacks several advanced features of ThreeTags Secure Notebook, a paid app still in review (update: ThreeTags Secure Notebook was approved on November 14, 2009).

Is data on the iPhone encrypted when using ThreeTags Secure Notebook? The statement “Strong AES-256 encryption (paid app, web service)” seems to suggest that.
There was a reply to one of the comments that data on the iPhone is in a decrypted state and thus vulnerable if the iPhone is lost.

ThreeTags data on the iPhone is not encrypted. It is only encrypted before it is sent to the server.
