Great app. When I add a line and press enter, it seems to double-space instead of single space. When I edit the html, I see it surrounds each line with . If I change it to between lines, it single-spaces. Any way to make that the default? Works the same for Firefox8 and IE8.

Allen: you can select several notes and click add/remove tags buttons on the toolbar. It is probably not what you are asking about, but it should be enough to achieve what you need.

Hi Kurt,

You are right – there is a limit – it is about 15 tags (including subtags).

We are working on a new version that will remove, or at least substantially increase the limit.

Hey guys,

I love what you’re doing. I’ve been looking for something like this for quite a while now.

I’m just running into one major problem, and I’m surprised to not see it mentioned anywhere here…

Is there a limit to how many tags you can have per note? I have one note that I’m trying to attach about 10 different tags, with each tag containing about 2 to 4 sub tags.

(For context, it’s a journal entry where in every person and place is categorized into its own tag group).

I thought it might be a limit in the number of characters allowed in the “tags” field, so I abbreviated all of my tags down to a few letters each, but that didn’t work. When I save the note, a few of the tags just disappear, and when I add them separately with the “add tag” button, it seems to just get rid of some of the existing tags.

Is this explainable by a simple limit?

Hi, great service, only one thing is missing and I know it’s not really a notebook thing, but a word count would be great. I often try to write for NaNo, but am always on different computers all the time. Threetags helps me a lot, but it would be nice if I could keep track of the word count on Threetags itself. Just my own opinion.

The application looks great…the only thing is really missing is a webclip, to easily import text and urls browsing the web.

Hi Tony,

This is a known bug in Google Chrome. We are looking into it.

Both Firefox and MSIE paste multi-line text properly, so you can use one of these browsers when you need to paste text from an external editor.
