Could you add a functionality to edit tag names? For example I have the tag ‘gamedev:engines’ and I want it to be just ‘engines’. I can still do it manually because I have few notes with that tag (but it’d be quite hard if I had like 500 notes using that tag)
Victor: you can select multiple notes (e.g. all notes under gamedev:engines) and assign a new tag to all of them at once by clicking the “add tags” button on the toolbar. You can then remove the old tag by clicking the “remove tags” button.

Is it possible to search your notes for a particular word or phrase?
Steve: searching notes is not possible because they are encrypted.
Do you have any future plan to provide your app for iPad?
Ken: yes, we do have iOS plans, but not for this year.

1. Could you add back ssl page and authorization through ssl ? Why not make it a permanent solution for your site? I know you explained why your service doesn’t needed… on the other hand it’s a perception since you building secure product ssl needs to be a check mark to your service on top of what you doing. People trained to expect https and lock sign in the browser to consider somewhat minimum security.
2. I would definably pay for a premium service and app version on iphone/ipad. And please add whenever transmition is on between server and the device ssl icon or popup progress bar that ssl is open … now secure trasmition … ssl closed… – I know it’s gimmicky from engineering point of view still will give a user knowledge that everything is secure from his finger tip till the server stops connections. It was sad that your app pulled out from Apple Store when I started to really use your service… Never had chance to get it (plus you are loosing exposure of user ratings not all users on iphone are teenagers some are professionals with real need of security in mind)

IPad browser is a bit weird with the notes. It also doesn’t support editing. Any hope for that? Thanks.

Current mobile browsers don’t support rich text editing. We plan to release a mobile web app down the road, but not in the next several months.
Ok on the RTF edit. How about just displaying notes on mobile web browsers? Are you committed to doing that OK? Thanks!

Yes, our current URL validation logic does not allow one-word domain names. This is obviously something we should address – thanks for letting us know.

- With HTML5 now, is offline support for Opera in the plan?

Hi, I’ve just started checking out ThreeTags as hierarchical tags is what I’ve been wanting for ages, thanks and congrats for doing this!
A few questions.
I’m a keyboard shortcut nut, I can’t survive without them. Any chance of adding keyboard shortcuts please? I’m talking hotkeys to add a new note, navigate etc, not just ctrl b for bold within a note.
How about adding the ability to link to a local file eg as when using file:/// in a browser – again that would really help.
I see you use Gears for offline, but given that Google are dropping that, will you be shifting to something else, and if so what’s the timing please?
Again very well done, if you work up to providing the combo of features I’m after I would be more than willing to pay a subscription for this.
