Zero-day vulnerability in TLS/SSL reported by CNet There will be a scheduled maintenance period for Google App Engine on Tuesday, November 3rd, at 5:00 PM Pacific Time, for up to one hour. During this time ThreeTags service will be inaccessible. We have just released our browser speed test that measures how fast a browser can encrypt text with JavaScript. We are happy to announce that Apple has just approved ThreeTags Notebook – a free iPhone note taking app from ThreeTags. It should become available on the iTunes App Store in the next several hours. As noted in a previous post, we are adding several security enhancements to our online service. Existing users need to upgrade their accounts. This post provides step-by-step instructions on the procedure. In the next couple of weeks we will be releasing a new feature/security update. Most of the changes are happening “behind the scene” and are related to making our client-side encryption (AES-256) more efficient (=faster). It has come to our attention that certain Java set-ups under Linux interfere with ThreeTags service. We are investigating the issue. In the meanwhile, if you experience the problem, you can disable Java support in your browser, as Java is used only for import/export. ThreeTags Inc.
